More specifically, we are looking for volunteers in the following areas:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-516 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.sachawarmi.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/Apoyanos1-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"187\" \/><strong><span lang=\"en-US\" style=\"color: #008000;\">Health and Interculturality<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">&#8211; Conduct interviews with doctors, patients, midwives, shamans and other traditional medicine specialists to support the intercultural health projects of the Sacha Warmi Foundation.<br \/>\n<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">&#8211; Support communities by making inventories of medicinal and other culturally important plants for their health programs and local health workers.<br \/>\n<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><br \/>\n&#8211; Assist with project management.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-516 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sachawarmi.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/Apoyanos2-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"187\" \/><strong><span lang=\"en-US\" style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Regeneration and conservation of ecosystems<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Assist biodiversity management programs in indigenous communities.<br \/>\n&#8211; Develop educational materials on environmental, cultural, health, food, ecology, conservation and other topics for the Sacha Warmi Foundation projects with the communities.<br \/>\n&#8211;\u00a0 To train in techniques for the production of seedlings and the sustainable management of plants, plant trees, reforest and regenerate deteriorated ecosystems.<br \/>\n&#8211; Assist with the maintenance and care of the nursery, the medicinal garden and the biocultural garden.<br \/>\n&#8211; Carry out landscaping work at the Sacha Warmi center.<br \/>\n&#8211; Assist with project management.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-516 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.sachawarmi.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/Apoyanos3-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"188\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">\u00a0<span style=\"color: #993366;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Entrepreneurship in communities<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">&#8211; Research innovative social and economic entrepreneurship and identify the leaders of these initiatives.<br \/>\n<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">&#8211; Support organized groups in administration, accounting and management.<br \/>\n<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">&#8211; Assist with project management.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-516 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.sachawarmi.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/Apoyanos4-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"248\" height=\"186\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">\u00a0<span lang=\"en-US\">Knowledge transfer and cultural awareness<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">&#8211; Help develop materials that can support the transmission of knowledge and cultural awareness (such as videos, booklets, brochures, games).<br \/>\n<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">&#8211; Edit and review articles and blogs to share on our website and social networks. &#8212;\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">Maintain and update the web page and Facebook pages.<br \/>\n<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">&#8211; Update and energize Sacha Warmi&#8217;s social networks<br \/>\n<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">&#8211; Assist with project management.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span lang=\"en-US\">VOLUNTEER PROFILE<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">Have a university degree <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">20 years of age or older<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">At least 6 month of work experience<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">Previous experience in tropical regions<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">Autonomous persons with initiative, flexible, participative, committed, creative, and with an interest and sensitivity towards indigenous cultures <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">Minimum stay: 2 months<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">Financial contribution from volunteers: $200\/month for a comfortable accommodation, an equipped kitchen and internet.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span lang=\"en-US\">HOW TO APPLY? <\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">If you are interested in volunteering with the Sacha Warmi Foundation, send your CV and a short motivation letter to info@sachawarmi.org <\/span><\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>JOIN US\u00a0 \u00a0|\u00a0 \u00a0DONATE\u00a0 \u00a0 |\u00a0 \u00a0MAKE A VOLUNTEER WITH US \u00a0JOIN US Subscribe to our contacts list give you the opportunity to : Learn more about biocultural diversity in the Amazon. activities we do.
